Sustainability and Environment
We’re part of the change
At Moventia, we want to play an active role in the move to decarbonised mobility, but we also know we can’t do it on our own.
Within the company, we have kicked off an ambitious plan to reduce our carbon footprint.
A roadmap based on three lines of work:
Fleet decarbonisation plan
We are progressively updating our fleet with hybrid, electric and natural-gas models. Our goal is to be carbon-neutral by 2035 and we’ve invested €120m towards this in 2020-2023.
Efficient energy management
We’ve installed over 1,300 solar panels with output of 712,685 kWp, all our facilities are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting and all the power used in our centres today is from renewable sources.
Biomethane, key to advancing towards a circular economy
We are pioneers in biomethane certifications and fully committed to accelerating its implementation in the transportation sector.
