Movento, the private mobility division of Moventia and one of the leading automotive groups in Spain, has reached an agreement for the purchase of Auto Beltrán (currently trading as LG Barcelona) from the French LG Groupe.

Moventia, a multinational mobility specialist with roots as a family company, has appointed Josefa Solanilla as the new Human Resources Director of the Group. Josefa Solanilla joins Moventia after a professional career spanning more than three decades in the fields of human resources and operations at such major corporations as Logisfashion, Drake Food Service International, MediaMarkt Saturn GmbH and Ikea.

Moventia attended the Gran Encuentro Expansión Catalunya for the second year in a row, a benchmark event for the business community at the Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau (Barcelona). The slogan for the event this year was “Growth, investment, innovation”.

Throughout February, Moventia took part in training days for students at the IES Miquel Biada (Mataró), the Centre Tècnic Vallès (CTV) and the Centre d’Estudis Monlau. These activities combined talks on professional profiles and dual vocational training opportunities with visits to garages and dealerships for a comprehensive overview of day-to-day operations at the company.

Moventis, the collective mobility division of Moventia, held its 2026 Annual Moventis Conference (JAM) in Barcelona; a meeting that gathered 160 professionals to analyse results from the last year and prepare for upcoming challenges for the company in the sector.

As part of this partnership, Moventis managed the mobility requirements of the broadcasting team by coordinating a safe and efficient transport service that enabled swift and smooth journeys for everyone concerned between Barcelona, Girona and Tarragona. These logistics were key to ensuring that the live broadcasts took place without a hitch, boosting the close ties that exist between the radio station and its listeners throughout the region.

Moventis TCC, the Joint Venture formed by Moventia and TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona), joined last month its partner Indra and the National Transport Authority (NTA) for the official inauguration of the new NGT Contactless Project Headquarters in Dublin.
