Moventis TCC Pamplona, the concessionary company in charge of urban and interurban transport within the Pamplona territory, has posted a record of more than 150,000 tickets on February 3rd. These values are identified parallel to the Sanfermines season.
The first week of February was notable for the large volume of travellers who chose to travel to villavesas. According to Regional Urban Transport, a total of 152,247 trips were registered on the first Friday of the month, a new record of figures that evoke data from before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In turn, the entire first week of February reached 20,000 more travellers, compared to levels prior to the health crisis. These very flattering data occur in the context of the current 50% discount on the bus ticket established by the Government of Navarra, in addition to the disappearance of the obligation to use a facemask on public transport. These two aspects favor a greater demand for the use of public transport.
From TCC Pamplona we want to thank all users for trusting in our service. We will continue working to operate with the best quality and precision that is in our power, since every day there are more travellers who bet on Las villavesas.
Moventis Sarfa reinforces its commitment in Girona with the sponsorship of the XV Economic Debate of the Palamós Chamber of Commerce
Last Friday, February 17, the VX Economy Debate The immediate future of the global economy took place, promoted by the Palamós Chamber of Commerce and with Moventis Sarfa as one of the main sponsors of the event.
The president of the Economic Circle, Jaume Guardiola, was the keynote speaker at the economic session held at the Parador Aiguablava, in Begur. For its part, Moventis Sarfa, the main Girona concessionaire belonging to the Moventia group, once again repeated its commitment as a collaborator in the important economic debate. Enric Gimeno, manager of the transport company, was one of the business faces that stood out among the guests.
The talk, which attracted more than 80 attendees, included the participation of the president of the Chamber of Girona, Jaume Fàbrega, and the president of the Chamber of Palamós, Pol Fages. Speakers and attendees discussed aspects of interest such as the global geopolitical situation, inflation and possible options to boost the catalan economy, such as strengthening airports or ending competition between territories.
The participation of Moventis Sarfa demonstrated the commitment of the Moventia group, which is open to participating in debates and events in which aspects of social relevance are discussed, and the support that the company offers to the territory in which it performs the urban transport service and intercity passenger services in Girona and the Costa Brava.
The TUC night service extends its service on Thursdays until 4:00 a.m.
As of next Thursday, January 12, the night service of Regional Urban Transport will be provided every Thursday until approximately 4:00 a.m., depending on the specific schedule of each line.
Until now, the service carried out by the ten night lines ended on Thursdays around 00:00. The reason for the extension of the service is the notable increase in the mobility needs of users of Urban Transport during Thursday nights.
This change means that both Thursday and Friday nights, the night service will end at approximately the same time, with the exception of those days that are the eve of a holiday.
On the occasion of the extension of night transport hours on Thursday nights, the Commonwealth of the Region of Pamplona will carry out a campaign aimed at young people this week. The campaign will include the placement of informative hangers in the villavesas and the issuance of radio spots.
This campaign will also highlight the advantages of the on-demand stop service aimed at women travelling alone or in a group, which has been operating on all TUC night lines since September last year.
Complete information on the TUC service can be found on the Urban Transport website (www.infotuc.es) and on the Tu Villavesa app.
