Santi Colomer Martí, Managing Director of Movento, and Toni Sánchez Poveda, Managing Director of Moventia, attended the SME Awards 2023 on behalf of our company. During the course of the event, Toni Sánchez Poveda presented the award for Business Linguistic Quality to the winning company Torrons i Mel Alemany.
Once again, Movento is maintaining our firm support for the PIMEC employers’ association, the organiser behind the awards that represent, support and raise awareness about the business fabric made up by self-employed professionals and SMEs.
A large number of attendees committed to the local business sector gathered for the 36th edition of the PIMEC SME Awards 2023. The charity event took place on 27 June at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB).
In partnership with the PIMEC Foundation, the employers’ association organises an official ceremony every year as part of a charity dinner to recognise and highlight the best projects in various parts of the business fabric within Catalonia, in this case from 2022.
The Catalan company that makes artisanal turrón and sells high-quality honey, Torrons i Mel Alemany, was one of the companies presented with an award at the ceremony. The companies and self-employed professionals nominated for the awards were able to present themselves under three different categories for a chance to receive the prestigious awards presented by PIMEC.
Charity event
As was the case at previous editions, the employers’ association made the SME Awards part of a charity dinner aimed at raising funds for the charity programme emppersona-segona oportunitat run by the PIMEC Foundation. The social purpose of this organisation is to provide support to SMEs and individuals finding it difficult to raise money for their business projects.
A joint project
As part of Moventia, our company became a sponsor and partner of PIMEC over a year ago via the official signing of a partnership agreement between the two organisations. The agreement outlines the path to be followed for jointly providing major solutions and advantages via our best private mobility services for commercial business activity in the region.
