Movento is adding EBRO to its brand portfolio and opening its first three dealerships in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca

Movento EBRO opens its first dealership in Barcelona on Thursday, 9 January 2025, while the dealership in Palma de Mallorca will open for business in February. A third dealership is also scheduled to open in Sant Boi de Llobregat in the first half of 2025.

With the addition of EBRO, Movento now represents a total of 20 brands in Catalonia, Madrid and the Balearic Islands.

Movento, the automotive division of Moventia, is expanding its brand portfolio with the addition of EBRO and announcing that three dealerships for the brand will open in Spain; the first two in Barcelona (Calle Balmes, 286 and Carretera de la Santa Creu de Calafell, 11, Sant Boi de Llobregat) and the third in Palma de Mallorca (Gran Vía Asima, 16, Norte). The dealerships, which will operate under the Movento EBRO brand, will open for business on 9 January 2025 in Barcelona and in February in Palma de Mallorca, with the exact date for the latter pending confirmation. Furthermore, a third dealership is also scheduled to open in Sant Boi de Llobregat at some point in the first half of 2025.

This project forms part of Movento’s expansion, growth and diversification strategy, which was launched in 2024. It should be remembered that the main milestones of this strategy include strategic partnerships with Roxa Group in the Balearic Islands and Gil Group in Madrid, which have allowed Movento to move into these new territories.

The opening of Movento EBRO coincides with a relaunch of the EBRO brand, which has entered the Spanish market in partnership with Chery Automobile. From its three new premises, Movento will sell the first models from the brand – the EBRO s700 and the EBRO s800, two SUVs designed to meet the demands of the most exacting customers. These vehicles offer an outstanding balance of advanced technology, sustainability and quality. Movento EBRO will offer a unique and personalised experience to its customers based on its recognised leadership in this sector, its commitment to innovation and a solid network of after-sales services.

With this new partnership, Movento has expanded its portfolio to a total of 20 brands, adding EBRO to the 19 it was already representing in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Madrid. The brands currently distributed by Movento include Mercedes-Benz (Movento Stern), Renault and Dacia (Movento Auser), Volkswagen, Škoda (Movento Sarsa and Movento Baleares), Audi (Movento Sarsa), Seat and Cupra (Movento Sarsa, Movento Baleares and Movento Madrid), Hyundai (Motorprim Movento), Land Rover and Jaguar (Movento Auto Pla Vic 4×4), Mazda, MG and Mitsubishi (Movento Madrid). The company also distributes Honda (Movento Akaimoto) and provides the repair service for Renault Trucks (Movento Automoción).
