Moventia and the Johan Cruyff Foundation have once again renewed their partnership agreement to continue promoting inclusive sport, thereby reaffirming a joint commitment to equal opportunities and wellbeing for persons with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion.
This new agreement consolidates the active involvement by Moventia in the 8th edition of the TRAM Barcelona Open Adapted Tennis Tournament, which will take place from 21 to 25 May 2025 in the city of Barcelona as part of the international Uniqlo Wheelchair Tennis Tour.
Moventia will support this event through a financial donation aimed entirely at organising the tournament. The company will also provide three adapted minibuses for people with reduced mobility during tournament week to guarantee mobility for participants, including a driver service. One of the vehicles will carry the official image of the tournament, thereby raising the profile of the event and highlighting the company’s commitment to this good cause.
During the agreement renewal ceremony, Sílvia Martí Escursell, Executive Vice-President of Internal and Institutional Communication at Moventia, stressed that “our continued partnership with the Johan Cruyff Foundation is a demonstration of how sport can and should be a vehicle for social inclusion”. “At Moventia, we believe mobility is a right and this agreement reflects our desire to make it accessible to all”, said the company’s Vice-President at the event, which was also attended by David Martínez, Head of Marketing at Movento, and Ana Gil, Marketing & Customer Manager at Moventis.
In turn, Pati Roura, Director of the Johan Cruyff Foundation, thanked Moventia for its continued support and said that “we are very pleased to once again count on this contribution from Moventia as main sponsor of the TRAM Barcelona Open. This kind of partnership lets us organise initiatives like this tournament, in which mobility and transport are essential to success.”
Through this partnership, Moventia is strengthening its commitment to corporate social responsibility by aligning its business activity with initiatives that foster inclusion, accessibility and respect for diversity.
