Moventis, the collective mobility division of the multinational company Moventia, attended CoMotion GLOBAL 2025, the major international event on mobility and urban transformation that took place at the KAFD Conference Centre in Saudi Arabia.
Held from 7 to 9 December under the slogan of ‘Voices that shape movement’, the event gathered industry experts, opinion leaders and government policymakers from all over the world to discuss and plan multimodal urban transport solutions that will impact the years ahead.
Within the framework of an extensive programme that included more than 100 sessions, representatives from Moventis took part in several discussion panels to share their experience and contribute to the dialogue with leaders and specialists in the sector.
On the second day of the event, Mohammed Balsad, Middle East Stakeholder Manager, took part in a panel entitled ‘Design for a multimodal Riyadh’ focusing on how to integrate the metro and buses into a coordinated system capable of guaranteeing flexible, intuitive and efficient mobility throughout the Saudi Arabian city.
In turn, Jordi Castells, Managing Director of Moventis and Country Manager in Saudi Arabia, took part in the round table discussion entitled ‘The creation of resilient public transport systems’ that discussed the digital planning of transport networks, energy diversification and strategies to strengthen urban systems.
Innovation and sustainability at the core
Over the course of three days, the international conference provided a backdrop for highlighting advancements in artificial intelligence applied to mobility, climate initiatives being promoted by cities and strategic partnerships for the development of next-gen transport.
Taking part in such benchmark events as CoMotion GLOBAL is of fundamental importance to Moventis. The company continues to develop solutions that connect people and cities in smarter, more sustainable ways, thereby reaffirming its position as a key player in multimodal transport worldwide.
