The Movento Stern network of official Mercedes-Benz dealerships and garages once again demonstrated its commitment to society by supporting the charity stand-up comedy night organised by Ègara Cops Walkers, an annual event aimed at raising money for childhood cancer research.

The Movento Stern network of official Mercedes-Benz dealerships and garages once again demonstrated its commitment to society by supporting the charity stand-up comedy night organised by Ègara Cops Walkers, an annual event aimed at raising money for childhood cancer research.

The Teatre Principal in Terrassa welcomed hundreds of audience members in support of this good cause to combine a cultural experience with a crystal-clear social objective: to raise money for research projects at the Vall d’Hebrón and Sant Joan de Déu hospitals, two benchmark institutions in the fight against childhood cancer nationwide. Initiatives like this one help to underpin early diagnosis, treatment and comprehensive care programmes for the children affected.

The event included stand-up sessions by such outstanding comedians as Toni Cano, Isaac Jurado, Manolito el Gafas, Elías Torres and Miguel Miguel, whose jokes made the audience laugh while also raising awareness about the importance of supporting medical research. That combination of humour and solidarity has become a successful way to unite the community around such a hugely relevant cause.

With a long history of supporting charity initiatives, Movento continues to demonstrate its firm commitment to corporate social responsibility by promoting activities with a genuinely positive and lasting impact on society. The company understands that business success is also measured by a company’s ability to contribute to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable people and communities. By collaborating with this charity event, it has once again helped to consolidate a united stance by culture, comedy and solidarity in the fight against childhood cancer.
