Movento brings MG to Catalonia with two new dealerships in Barcelona and Vic

Movento, the automotive division of Moventia, has taken another step on its strategic growth strategy in Catalonia by opening its first two official MG dealerships in Barcelona and Vic.

Movento, the automotive division of Moventia, has taken another step on its strategic growth strategy in Catalonia by opening its first two official MG dealerships in Barcelona and Vic.

This move forms part of a partnership with Gil Group that began in 2024 and that, until now, only permitted Movento to operate with MG in Madrid, where it already has three dealerships. These new dealerships support ongoing plans for regional expansion of the brand in Catalonia.

New spaces in Barcelona and Vic

The new dealership in Barcelona is located at 265 Paseo Maragall and offers:

  • 450 m² of commercial space
  • More than 2,000 m² of garage space
  • A team of four professionals

In turn, the dealership in Vic is located at 8 Calle Lleida and has:

  • 500 m² of commercial space
  • 1,000 m² of garage space
  • A team of four professionals

Both centres have been designed to offer a comprehensive service and a customer experience based on excellence, in line with the usual Movento standards. They also offer several recharging points for electric vehicles, maintaining the MG commitment to electric mobility.

Range of MG vehicles

Movento will sell a wide range of MG models from the new dealerships, including:

  • MG HS (including the plug-in hybrid version)
  • MG ZS
  • MG3
  • MGS5 EV
  • MGS6 EV

The offer includes hybrid, petrol and fully electric options, fully adapted to the various mobility needs expressed by customers.

Promoting electric mobility in Catalonia

These new dealerships strengthen Movento’s network in Catalonia with a brand recognised for its innovation and a range of highly competitive electric vehicles.

According to Miquel Martí Pierre, CEO of Movento,
