On Thursday 2 July, Movento Auser attended the conference entitled “Electric Mobility: from vehicles to charging infrastructure” organised by the Central Collegiate Energy Transition Office of Catalonia (OTEC) in Manresa. The session discussed a crucial issue for many companies in the region: the transition to electric vehicles.

The event was attended on behalf of Movento Auser by David García, a sales rep from the company, who offered his own perspective on how the switch to electric vehicles can reduce costs, improve competitiveness and support progress towards more sustainable energy models for many SMEs in Central Catalonia.

More specifically, David García explained how Renault has historically been a pioneering brand in terms of electric vehicles and told attending business leaders that the adoption of electric mobility represents a strategic opportunity for them all. The gradual replacement of combustion vehicles for electric or electrified vehicles enables the operating costs stemming from fuel consumption and fleet maintenance to be reduced.

During the session, attendees were also able to discover the latest news from the sector, such as the development of technologies linked to electric vehicles, the available charging infrastructures and the alternatives that allow the integration of renewables for more efficient installations.
