Moventis took part in Global Mobility Call for another year. GMC is a benchmark trade fair for sustainable, smart and connected mobility that took place for the fourth time on 9, 10 and 11 June at IFEMA Madrid.

The event has consolidated its position as a key space for connecting all the major players in the mobility ecosystem; from public authorities and institutions to operators, manufacturers, technology experts and organisations committed to the transport transformation. Against this backdrop, Moventis boosted its presence at a strategic event for sharing knowledge, generating new opportunities and continuing to drive more efficient, accessible and sustainable solutions.

On behalf of the company, the event was attended by the Chairman of Moventia, Josep Maria Martí; the Managing Director of Moventis, Jordi Castells; Ramón Palau, Country Manager at Moventis Regular for Spain; Gregory Carmona, Country Manager at Moventis Regular for France; and Alexandre Barthel, Operations and Development Project Manager at Moventis France, among others.

During the official opening ceremony, Global Mobility Call was visited by various institutional authorities, led by Jorge Rodrigo Domínguez, Councillor for Housing, Transport and Infrastructures of the Regional Government of Madrid, on a day that highlighted the essential role of public-private partnership for shifting towards a mobility model that is more connected with the real needs of passengers and future challenges.

The group took part in two talks

The group’s strong involvement in this trade fair was also reflected by its participation in two talks focusing on the talent, transformation and role of people in mobility of the future.

On the one hand, Josefa Solanilla, Corporate People Director at Moventia, took part in the talk entitled “People as a driving force for growth” on 10 June. On the other hand, Elisa Gil, Managing Director of Movento Madrid and Chairwoman of Gil Group, took part in the talk entitled “Women Driving Mobility: initiative, talent and transformation in action” on the same day.

The two sessions placed a focus on two fundamental pillars for development in the sector: the drive from female talent in mobility; and the importance of people as a driving force for growth, innovation and change within organisations.
