On 28 October, representatives from Moventia (Sílvia Martí, Corporate Vice-President of Moventia; Carlos Soldevilla, Manager of Moventis Autobuses de Lleida; Sandra Llunell, Head of Marketing; and Anna González, an internal communication officer) visited the Neurorehabilitation Centre of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (FEM) in Lleida.
The visit took place under the partnership that Moventia has maintained with the foundation since 2013 and within the framework of the mobility project being supported by the company.
During the visit, the team from Moventia were shown the work that takes place at the centre, which provides specialised neurorehabilitation, physiotherapy, psychological care and social work services aimed at improving quality of life and mobility for people with multiple sclerosis and their families.
Direct involvement by the Vice-President of Moventia strengthens the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility and social inclusion, sharing the mission undertaken by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation to facilitate personal independence and foster a more accessible and mutually supportive society.
“The support of companies like Moventia helps us to continue promoting projects with a direct impact on the wellbeing of people with multiple sclerosis”, said representatives from the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
In turn, Sílvia Martí stressed that “the work being done by the foundation has a real and positive impact on the quality of life of many people and their families”. “Moventia is firmly committed to this initiative, which clearly reflects our social responsibility and our way of understanding mobility as a tool for independence and opportunities”, she added.
With support from Moventia and involvement by other companies with a commitment to health and mobility, the foundation continues to make progress on limiting the impact of multiple sclerosis and offering opportunities to live lives with more independence, health and hope.
