World Alzheimer’s Day took place on Sunday, 21 September, and is a day dedicated to raising the profile of a disease that affects millions of people worldwide and highlighting the need to continue promoting research projects aimed at eradicating Alzheimer’s.

Moventia has been pro-actively working with the Pasqual Maragall Foundation for seven years to support research and build a future without this serious disease. Mobility is not the sole corporate purpose at the company, as it understands that companies can—and should—make a positive contribution to society.

In that regard, the Corporate Vice-President of Moventia, Sílvia Martí, has written a special article in the Corresponsables Dossier: World Alzheimer’s Day about the importance of “working today to guarantee wellbeing for the people of today and tomorrow”.

Sílvia Martí believes that “those companies that get actively involved in social causes generate confidence, closer relationships and very powerful intangible value”.

In partnership with the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, the Corresponsables Dossier for World Alzheimer’s Day 2025 compiles actions, testimonials and experiences that seek to raise awareness about the disease. For Moventia, it has been a genuine honour to form part of this transformational project.

The company works with the Pasqual Maragall Foundation to support the research and prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease and to improve quality of life for those who live with it and their families, joining forces for a future in which people can grow old with dignity and wellbeing.

To read more about Sílvia Martí’s ideas on the matter and to learn more about the partnership with the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, the full article can be found in the Corresponsables Dossier: World Alzheimer’s Day here.
