For another year, Moventia and the Johan Cruyff Foundation have renewed their partnership agreement to make sport a tool for genuine inclusion for people with functional diversity or at risk of exclusion, thereby reaffirming their shared commitment to equal opportunities.

This new agreement consolidates the active involvement by Moventia in the 9th edition of the TRAM Barcelona Open, an international wheelchair tennis tournament that will take place from Uniqlo Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

Moventia will contribute via a financial donation aimed entirely at organising the tournament. The company will also provide three adapted minibuses for people with reduced mobility during tournament week to guarantee mobility for participants, including a driver service. One of the vehicles will carry the official image of the tournament, thereby raising the profile of the event and highlighting Moventia’s commitment to this good cause.

During the event to renew the partnership, Sílvia Martí Escursell, Corporate Vice-President for Internal and Institutional Communication at Moventia, said that “we continue to support the work being done by the Foundation, thanks to which more and more young people with special needs can access sport and leisure activities without barriers or restrictions”. This event was also attended by Ana Gil, Head of Marketing at Moventis.

Pati Roura, Director of the Johan Cruyff Foundation, expressed gratitude for the continued support from Moventia, making it clear that partnership agreements like this one mean that the Cruyff Foundation can organise such prestigious events as the TRAM Barcelona Open.
