Alongside its Moventis and Movento divisions, Moventia once again attended the Automotive Day organised by the Monlau Professional Training Studies Centre at Nürburgreen Indoor Karting Electric in Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona). This year, the fourth edition of the event proved to be one of the most popular and most successful since the initiative was first launched.
In line with the commitment from Moventia to promote young talent, employment and a stronger profile for the mobility sector, the company supported the event by providing an overview of its business areas and the job opportunities on offer through a team of experts.
As part of a great agenda of talks and round table discussions, Daniel Piera, Head of Service at Movento, gave an inspiring talk to all the attending students in which he mainly stressed that “passion and attitude make all the difference” to achieving great success in any professional career.
He also took stock of his second experience at the Monlau Automotive Day and said the event is a game changer where young people showcase what they do and what they want in life, which is why he insisted that “Moventia will be there to help them in the world of business”.
Moventis had a corporate stand during the event from where it showed students all its mechanical innovations and technological adaptations in urban transport via a tourist train that was converted from the chassis of a hybrid Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. In turn, Movento showcased its business activities focused on the sale of and after-sale services for vehicles and motorcycles, including the display of a premium compact model, the Audi A1, and the Honda CBR 650 with its sporty design.
Attended by more than 1,200 people, the 4th Monlau Automotive Day forms part of an initiative to offer a one-of-a-kind space for attracting new talent and showcasing the final projects by more than 200 students on the courses provided by the school in order to build fruitful connections between companies, professionals and students, as well as to organise technical talks and round table discussions. Forming part of events that foster future generations of professionals strengthens the commitment from Moventia to building real ties between students at education centres and the company. In short, attending this event again was a great opportunity to attract new talent and share space with other leading companies in the sector.
