The Moventia group proactively seeks to develop opportunities for young talent by contributing to the training of future professionals who will be key to evolving the automotive and sustainable mobility sector.
As part of this commitment, several groups of students from the IES Castellarnau secondary school visited the Moventis premises in Sant Cugat and were shown how Movento operates at the logistics centre in Sabadell.
In early March, the Moventia logistics centre on the Sant Pau de Riu-sec industrial estate in Sabadell welcomed a school outing by students in year one of the Intermediate Level Training Course on Vehicle Electromechanics.
The vocational training students visited the Movento Stern van dealership and were shown the after-sales management process at the Movento Stern official garages for commercial vans and trucks, as well as the official garage for Renault Trucks.
The day began with a talk by Miriam Rodríguez and Nacho Delgado, Human Resources Officers at Moventia, who gave students a global overview of the company and explained the internship plan on offer from Moventia for professional development.
This training day was also attended by Silvia Martí, Vice-President of Moventia, alongside Joan Rates, Head of After-sales Services at Movento Stern; Ricard Garia, Head of After-sales Services at Vausa, Josep Soler, Head of Services at Movento Stern, and Juan Manuel Arroyo, Head of Movento Stern installations at the logistics centre, who led students around the premises, offered their own professional experience and answered any questions.
Earlier in the year, in February, students on the Advanced Level Training Course in Chemistry and Environmental Health were shown around the incident management and control centre on the Moventis premises in Sant Cugat as part of the Sustainable Mobility project for their final year.
On that occasion, Núria Corominas, Head of Planning and Studies at Moventis, was responsible for showing students around so they could see how the operator does business, answering all their questions and encouraging them to develop their professional career in the field of sustainable transport.
This educational initiative, which sought to show young students how a major company operates, clearly reflects Moventia’s commitment to professional training and encourages students to develop careers capable of tackling future challenges in the automotive industry and efficient mobility.
