Moventia fosters young talent and practical training in mobility
27 February 2026
Throughout February, Moventia took part in training days for students at the IES Miquel Biada (Mataró), the Centre Tècnic Vallès (CTV) and the Centre d’Estudis Monlau. These activities combined talks on professional profiles and dual vocational training opportunities with visits to garages and dealerships for a comprehensive overview of day-to-day operations at the company.

The multinational company promotes the development of young professionals through training activities that combine theory and practice, providing real-world knowledge to students about operations in the mobility and automotive sector.

Practical experience in professional environments

Throughout February, Moventia took part in training days for students at the IES Miquel Biada (Mataró), the Centre Tècnic Vallès (CTV) and the Centre d’Estudis Monlau. These activities combined talks on professional profiles and dual vocational training opportunities with visits to garages and dealerships for a comprehensive overview of day-to-day operations at the company.

At the start of the month, Jaume Safont, Corporate Garage Manager at Moventis, and Miriam Rodríguez, Human Resources Officer, explained which profiles are most in demand and the opportunities for professional development to pupils studying the Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle [CFGM] in Electromechanics and Bodywork at the IES Miquel Biada secondary school. Those students subsequently visited the base of Moventis Casas, where they learned about what goes on at a professional garage and the maintenance and repair processes for a fleet of buses from Jaume Safont and Bárbara Wright, Human Resources Officer at Moventia, as well as the official Movento Auser dealership and garage in Mataró, where they were accompanied by Marc Viladrosa, Human Resources Officer.

On 6 February, students at the Centre Tècnic Vallès (CTV) paid a visit to Movento Sarsa in Granollers, where they witnessed vehicle reception, diagnosis, repair and quality control first-hand. The visit combined a global overview of the company with practice in the garage, accompanied by Nacho Delgado, Human Resources Officer at Moventia and the mechanics and bodywork team.

Training and development of young talent

On 18 February and in partnership with the Centre d’Estudis Monlau, Daniel Piera, Head of Operations Service at Movento, gave a talk to pupils studying the Advanced Vocational Training Cycle [CFGS] in Automotion to reveal how the company operates and its structure alongside Roger Herrero, a former dual vocational training student, who shared his professional experience.

For the second year in a row, students on the Master’s Degree in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in Monlau visited a Movento garage for an experience that allowed them to see the innovation and dynamic nature of the group up close and personal.

Furthermore, Peter Mugliston, Managing Director of Brands at Movento, and Rafael Castañedo, Manager of Movento Sarsa Cupra and Seat, led a training session at Movento Sarsa Terrassa for students on the Post-graduate Course for Commercial Advisers in Monlau that focused on the sales process at the group.

Through these initiatives, Moventia continues to offer opportunities that prepare new generations to tackle mobility challenges from a basis grounded on professional attitudes and excellence, thereby strengthening the ties between academic training and professional practice.
