The V Monlau Professional Training Automotive Day gathered students, teachers, companies and professionals from the sector for an event aimed at connecting the education community with the business reality in the automotive and mobility sectors. Held on 3 June 2026 at Nürburgring Indoor, the event combined project presentations, technical activities, networking and talent recruitment.

The event was also attended by Sílvia Martí, Vice-President of Moventia, thereby boosting involvement by the business group in the training, employability and development of young talent in the mobility sector.

The day began with an institutional opening ceremony led by Iban Ventura, Managing Director of Monlau Group, and Carlos Salazar, Head of the Automotive Area of Monlau. As part of the event and on behalf of Moventia, Daniel Piera, Head of Service at Movento, took part in a round table discussion on the professional profiles most highly in-demand and the skills most highly valued by companies in the sector alongside other important members of the automotive community. During the course of the discussion, Daniel Piera told students about the diverse range of professional opportunities on offer at the company and said “we have a huge range of jobs, we want you to fulfil your dream and we will help you grow”.

In that regard, Moventia once again took part in this event with a cross-cutting presence via its Movento and Moventis divisions. On the one hand, Moventis, the collective mobility division, showed off a tourist train that has been converted from the chassis of a hybrid Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, one of the solutions linked to the passenger transport services operated by the company.

On the other hand, Movento, the automotive division, displayed a Volkswagen Golf GTI from the Movento Sarsa official network at the event, as well as a Honda model from Movento Akaimoto, an official dealership of the Japanese brand. These examples enabled students to gain an insight into aspects relating to technical, commercial and training aspects of the sector.

The company also had a stand where the divisions of the group were presented to visitors, as well as the professional development opportunities associated with each of their various fields of business. This space was hosted by Roser Clavell and Miriam Rodríguez, Human Resources Officers, who spoke directly with students and future professionals.

The day also included project review panels, dynamic tests by Monlau Tech on the indoor circuit and practical demo spaces on interviews, virtual welding, diagnostics and robotics. The event concluded with a speech from Carlos Salazar, who highlighted the growth enjoyed at this edition by saying “we’ve had 15% more projects this year”.

By taking part in the V Automotive Day, Moventia maintains its partnership with Monlau Professional Training and boosts its commitment to the training, employability and development of future mobility professionals.
