Moventia, a multinational mobility specialist with roots as a family company, has appointed Josefa Solanilla as the new Human Resources Director of the Group. Josefa Solanilla joins Moventia after a professional career spanning more than three decades in the fields of human resources and operations at such major corporations as Logisfashion, Drake Food Service International, MediaMarkt Saturn GmbH and Ikea.
Her arrival will enable Moventia to strengthen its people strategy at a time of growth for the group, boosting talent development, organisational transformation and the consolidation of a corporate culture aligned with growth and future challenges.

Josefa Solanilla is an expert in leading organisational transformation and business development strategies, as well as in the international expansion and cultural and digital transformation of large companies worldwide. She also has significant experience in highly demanding sectors and organisations in terms of sustainability and commitment to society. She has steadily gained all these skills over the course of a long professional career and her appointment represents the arrival of an extremely valuable asset for Moventia.
Josefa Solanilla began her professional career in the field of business consultancy but entered the human resources sector in 1995. She was first HR Director for Ikea at a time when the Swedish company was beginning to operate in Spain and undergoing rapid growth and expansion. After a decade with Ikea, she switched sectors to become the HR and Communication Director for the Iberian subsidiary of MediaMarkt, relocating to the Holding in Germany for two years in order to take over the design and implementation of the company’s new operating model. This period of her career came to an end in 2021. In recent years, she has also led the human resources divisions of Logisfashion and Drake Food Service International as CHRO.
Josefa Solanilla holds a Degree in Law from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a Master’s in Human Resources from EADA Business School. She also holds a diploma from IMD Switzerland and is internationally qualified in Boards of Directors and Good Governance from IGE.
