A new Corporate Head of Systems and Technology at Moventia: Carles Sanz takes over from Esteban de Kelety

Esteban de Kelety, CIO at the company since 2002, is concluding his professional career at Moventia due to retirement. His position will be filled by Carles Sanz, a professional with more than two decades of digital transformation experience in such highly demanding sectors as mobility, transport and service management.

Moventia has announced its new Corporate Head of Systems and Technology. Esteban de Kelety, CIO at the company since 2002, is concluding his professional career at Moventia due to retirement. For more than 20
years, Esteban has led the technology department to support strong growth by Moventia, a challenge he undertook by consolidating robust digital infrastructure, strengthening information security and fostering innovative projects that have accompanied expansion and modernisation by the company.

His position will be filled by Carles Sanz, a professional with more than two decades of digital transformation experience in such highly demanding sectors as mobility, transport and service management. His career combines sound technical training with a strategic business-focused vision. He has led initiatives aimed at adopting Big Data, IoT, predictive analysis and artificial intelligence, leading to contributions for operational efficiency, improved user experience and business sustainability.

To ensure an orderly transition and to accompany the hand-over process, Esteban will maintain ties to the company until January.

I bid farewell to my colleagues with the satisfaction of having done my duty and the confidence that Carles will capably lead a new era of innovation and technological development for the group”, said Esteban de Kelety.
